[stan] 5:13 p.m. - Song

Song: Making Love Out of Nothing at All
Artists: Air Supply (1983) and Bonnie Tyler (1995)

Why: No reason. Incidentally, this song was written by Jim Steinman, who also wrote "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and several Meat Loaf hits, including "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)", which are, of course, basically the same songs.

Rats, my comment just flew off into cyberspace! I'll try to remember what I said. I just discovered this blog (via Quiet Paths with a stopover at Dinglemunch)- I have some catching up to do. I'm glad to see you are are addressing the song-stuck-in-the-head phenomenon. It happens to me all the time. If it's one I like, I'll usually let it run its course, but if it's one I'd rather chew aluminum foil than listen to, I have to quickly listen to something else to "reset" myself. I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this...?
