Location: Rocky Butte, Portland, Oregon
Why: Just another one of those random memories, I guess. I do remember a few years ago there was one summer that I went up there quite a bit so I could climb up the rock walls. They were slightly slanted, so it was pretty easy to climb them without needing any special gear, which I couldn't have afforded, anyway.
I practiced climbing the walls one afternoon when until I slipped and fell all the way to the bottom, scraping my palms and slightly injuring my right rotator cuff on the way down. I don't think I ever climbed those walls after that.
